About the Team

VIZIO advertising technology solutions is looking for a smart, motivated Product Manager to drive the next stage of audience our ad tech offerings. The position can be held in one of several offices (San Francisco, Dallas, Denver, Irvine, New York), and is responsible for working with stakeholders to help craft our audience data roadmap and future offerings of VIZIO’s advertising technology stack. We are a close-knit team, focusing on challenging, high impact opportunities to our growing media business. In this role, you will be responsible for how audience gets used in our owned & operated software suite.

What You Will Do

  • Work with stakeholders across the business – from Sales and Accounts to Ad Ops – to help define our audience solutions
  • Define how a given project or program reaches success and impacts our advertising business
  • Create requirements that turn into awesome capabilities and drive differentiated ad campaigns for our customers
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure we have a clear expectation on what we want to do, and understand how long it’ll take us to get there – all while making smart choices to drive value faster
  • Work with Product Marketing to enable the business to adopt and drive value for what you’ve worked on
  • Measure the outcome; identify when we need to reinvest or when we can move on

About You

  • You have 2+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Have delivered in Agile-type environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
  • Are a fantastic communicator, who can drive alignment with engineers, stakeholders
  • You operate collaboratively – delivery means everyone is successful, and you help your teams get there
  • Have successfully delivered new offerings to market, and can point to how they impacted the businesss
  • You are accountable to mistakes as much as you are to successes – you learn and adjust appropriately
  • You’re intensely curious; “but how” and “why” are your calling cards
  • You seek to understand market problems, customer challenges, and business challenges through empathy, and know the right time to just listen
  • Can create clarity in an otherwise complicated ecosystem with many moving parts
  • Experience in advertising technology offerings at a well-known organization (e.g., DMPs, DSPs, SSP, Ad Servers, etc)
