About the Team

VIZIO's dynamic Business Development Team is looking for an Associate Manager of Digital Distribution who will support Senior Business Development Staff in identifying, scoping, negotiating, and establishing impactful partnerships with media, internet, and tech companies to support VIZIO's fast-growing connected-TV ecosystem. 

 

In this critical role, you will help evolve VIZIO's award-winning SmartCast content ecosystem in terms of the breadth of third-party apps, partnership uniqueness, and financial impact. You will be required to handle multiple requests from Senior Business Development Staff members concurrently, including, but not limited to the following tasks:

 

  • Providing deal flow support from sourcing through negotiation, execution, and optimization focusing on licensing third-party apps from the biggest media and tech companies in the world.
  • Developing basic valuation models with key assumptions and risks for potential licensing deals to help identify, prioritize, and maximize value exchange during the deal-making process.
  • Tracking and reporting net new business opportunities to grow the pipeline of third-party apps on the SmartCast platform.
  • Providing support on high-priority strategic initiatives such as crafting enterprise-level RFPs, cross-functional project management, and helping draft PowerPoint presentations for C-Level audiences. 
  • Examining SmartCast performance data for third-party apps and make recommendations to senior team members based on findings 
  • Managing basic market intelligence reports relating to key industry, technology, and competitor trends.

What You Will Do

  • Manage basic market intelligence reports relating to key industry, technology, and competitor trends
  • General ad-hoc project management support.

About You

  • A minimum education level of bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years in business analysis and deal support
  • Experience generating insights from data sets and providing recommendations
  • Experience implementing and managing strategic initiatives and communication of such initiatives across multiple teams
  • Experience in a client/external facing role
  • Experience in both the hardware and software industries; CTV a plus
  • Expert in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills
  • Clear written and oral communication

Preferred Qualifications (if applicable):

  • Experience working with data management and analytics teams to generate new and necessary analyses and reporting for management presentations
  • Experience with reviewing content avails and evaluating content for CTV platform
