About the Team

The Business Development team at VIZIO is looking for a Manager of Business Development, Supply Partnerships to join us.  In this role, you will work closely with the Director of BD, Supply Partnerships as well as the ad operations and finance teams to manage and optimize VIZIO’s ad inventory partnerships and negotiate inventory deals with new potential partners.  You’ll be working with inventory across our standalone applications and our content licensing partners for FAST and AVOD content. You will work with our ad inventory content partners to better understand any-and-all opportunities to enhance monetization of their inventory on-platform and identify partners that are a good fit for our off-platform product, vAmplify.


You will build strong relationships with VIZIO’s ad inventory content partners, and through proactive management and regular conversations, you’ll ensure both VIZIO and our partners are maintaining the terms of our agreements through activities like regular inventory audits and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise related to delivery.  You will also help develop and manage ongoing data analysis activities around overall partner ad inventory performance as well as VIZIO’s monetization of ad inventory access.


This diverse set of responsibilities requires a deep understanding of the partner’s business, content offering, and KPIs/goals, as well as the ability to paint a clear and compelling vision around how we will work collaboratively to drive great results.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for partnerships, data, and monetization.


This is a full-time position based in Irvine, CA, and reports to the Director of Business Development, Supply Partnerships.



What You Will Do

  • Manage partner relationships in relation to ad inventory including facilitating onboarding efforts, regular updates on performance, and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise
  • Work with Ad Operations and Finance to maintain accurate and beneficial revenue, inventory forecasting, and margin profile tracking
  • Identify and log for discussion with Director of SP, any potential ad inventory opportunities with current on-platform partners, including apps, AVOD and FAST partners
  • Identify and log for discussion with Director of SP, any potential ad inventory opportunities with publishers that are not currently onboarded to the VIZIO platform
  • Negotiate new ad inventory acquisitions/modifications with both current and potential publishers
  • Manage one-off campaign delivery requests coming from sales by communicating with inventory partners in a timely manner to acquire additional inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

  • A minimum education level of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years in partner management/relations
  • Experience in ad inventory operations and/or optimization as well as ad ops systems (i.e., Springserve)
  • Both business and technical backgrounds required
  • Experienced in data organization and analysis, as well as communicating constructively with a finance team
  • Experience in both the hardware and software industries; CTV a plus
  • Expert in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills
  • Clear written and oral communication
