About the Team

As the Senior Manager, Financial Systems, you will help define our financial systems architecture, provide technical expertise and support for Accounting and Finance team and other business stakeholders across the company. This position offers the successful applicant the opportunity to leverage a strong background in systems architecture, analytics, and reporting to build, improve and optimize our current and future financial solutions and internal reporting. We're looking to hire a strategic thinker who can solve complex problems and collaborate effectively to carry projects from inception to execution and roll out.

What You Will Do

You will be the primary resource and champion for our Financial Accounting systems, applications, and reporting solutions, including but not limited to SAP. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Translate business needs into detailed requirements and provide solutions that allow Finance/ Accounting systems'’ and applications'’ capabilities and functionality to drive efficiencies and process maturity.
  • Support as a Finance liaison to and coordinator with IT continued deployment, adoption, training, and system administration, including 3rd party integrations such as Workiva with SAP.
  • This role will be responsible for system documentation, hands-on processing, and other technical administration requirements while maximizing the daily system activities and maintaining operational excellence.
  • Manage day-to-day support while working with and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders from groups like accounting, finance, human resources, supply chain, logistics, and business planning.
  • Gain a deep understanding of business needs to prioritize new projects or enhancements to meet existing and long-term goals.
  • Develop executive and management reporting dashboards and provide users with relevant reports.
  • Develop, manage and troubleshoot resolutions for streamlining automation flows
  • Provide oversight and governance on use and changes to data analytics and models
  • Own and maintain approach and governance for Finance / Accounting document management and file storage process for daily operations


About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of knowledge and related industry experience implementing and maintaining SAP and other major ERP solutions.
  • Minimum of five years of business experience with financial and accounting systems
  • Minimum of five years leading automation or technology-enabled process improvement efforts at the Enterprise, Segment or Business Unit levels of the organization with demonstrated experience managing process efficiency projects
  • Minimum of two years professional experience using continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., LEAN Six Sigma, TQM, PMP, or similar)
  • In-depth experience in implementing financial systems (ERP, Procurement, Payroll, HRIS, Financial Disclosure & other tools) and supporting Accounting and Finance departments
  • Experience working on business intelligence/data warehousing and reporting systems projects (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos, BW, Crystal Reports, MS SQL Report Builder, or similar)
  • Experience utilizing enterprise SQL database (MS SQL, Oracle, My SQL, SSRS) platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting operations
