About the Team

VIZIO is looking for an energetic Intern to join the Human Resources team to learn, support all areas of HR: performance management, compensation, training, benefits, recruiting, HRIS, administrative tasks and special projects as assigned. The position is in Irvine and will provide support on multiple ongoing projects.  This is an amazing opportunity to join a close-knit team with a fast-paced environment as we continue to innovate initiatives that help support the organization. 

What You Will Do

  • Assist in projects, managing system implementation tasks such as documenting meeting notes, user acceptance testing, and application training
  • Participate in HR initiatives related to driving employee engagement both regionally and globally
  • Identify and report on relevant trends, assist in implementing appropriate responses to improve processes and increase effectiveness of HR procedures
  • Create standard operating procedures and instructional material for employees/managers
  • Monitor compliance of various training in Learning Management System

About You

  • You have experience using Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • You have outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • You have a bias for action, are resourceful, and have experience working in fast-paced environments
  • You are currently in an undergraduate or graduate program with an emphasis on Human Resources or related subjects
