About the Team

VIZIO’s Information Technology team is seeking a Senior Deskside Services Administrator to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with cutting edge technology that helps facilitate productivity, support, and services to VIZIO. The Senior Deskside Services Administrator will report to the ‘Manager, Deskside Services’ and provide support to the Seattle Office and company-wide employees.

What You Will Do

  • Support on-boarding and off-boarding of employees via account creation and termination.
  • Administer access to Slack and Jira.
  • Collaborate with other DSAs to provide weekend on-call support. This is rotational.
  • Provision hardware on a weekly basis for new employees. This will be either PC or Mac.
  • Provide L1 and L2 support to users locally and company-wide via Email, Chat, or Phone.
  • Assist Infrastructure Team in deployment of new technologies like Microsoft Endpoint Manager (formerly InTune), Jamf, and others.
  • Provide support for Video Conferencing Systems.
  • Evaluate (along with DS Manager) hardware to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Other tasks as assigned by DS Manager.

About You

  • You have a minimum education level of a High School Diploma.
  • You have a deep understanding of MacOS X with at least 3 years of experience supporting the OS.
  • You have extensive experience with Windows 10. Minimum of 3 years.
  • You have 1+ years of related work experience.
  • You are a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, yet at times, ambiguous environment.
  • You are a hard-working team player, with a “no task is too small” attitude.
  • You are able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • You are able to work with software developers with they need assistance. Providing them with correct solutions and root causes analysis.
  • At least 1 year of Jamf experience (software packaging, profile deployment, imaging)
  • At least 1 year of working with ticking systems like Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
  • At least 1 year of working with Office 365 Admin Center
  • Exposure or understanding of Microsoft PowerShell (Automation).
  • Solid foundation of Windows imaging .wim, ghost, etc.
  • Exposure to software packaging.
  • Understanding of Active Directory tools.
