About the Team

The Senior Technical Writer will consult with engineering and technical staff to prepare technical and end-user TV/Audio documentation. This position is responsible for documentation production as well as other related instructional marketing writing/design. Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents. Mentor and cross-train junior staff. This position will report to the Senior Creative Services Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Perform any of the duties of Technical Writer in addition to the below.
  • Design and write instructional documents, reviewer’s guide, product one-sheet, and other collaterals.
  • Advise project requestors on what constitutes good writing.
  • Assist junior designers in communicating writing and design decisions.
  • Seek ways to streamline work using advanced production techniques.
  • Complete responsibilities in a professional manner, always with the Company’s mission and goals in mind
  • Mentor and cross-train junior staff on intermediate/advanced writing techniques.
  • Proof work of junior staff, ensuring output meets the department's standards and that it follows Company branding guidelines.

About You

  • Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a focus in English or Technical Communication with 4-7 years work experience.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to lead a team.
  • Solid understanding of consumer electronics documentation, both online and in print
  • Demonstrated consistent attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Professional communication, interpersonal skills, and collaborative team spirit
  • Excellent project management skills; able to juggle multiple projects and timelines in collaboration with both internal and external teams
  • Able to craft convincing and stylish marketing copy.
  • Must be familiar with writing and designing content for localization.
  • Energetic and driven with a strong sense of urgency
  • Organized and process-oriented, with the ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects.




  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
    Ability to work with graphics in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
  • HTML, CSS, and XML skills.
