About the Team

VIZIO’s advertising technology innovation team is looking for a dedicated Senior Program Manager to help drive delivery of our software initiatives. In this role you will collaborate with product managers and product marketing on roadmap, along with software development managers and engineers to plan and execute software projects from start to finish. The position can be held in one of several offices (San Francisco, Dallas, Denver, Irvine, New York), and is responsible for project management and process activities with the technology team. We are a close-knit team, focusing on challenging problems that make an impact. We concentrate on high-impact, high-value development, and in this role, you will be a key part of that drive.

What You Will Do

  • Effectively manage process for a lean group of software engineers.
  • Partner in building an SDLC founded on Agile principles, crafted to meet practical and tactical needs around delivery.
  • Manage, and enforce processes to optimize for high quality delivery that nets results for VIZIO.
  • Program/Project manage software build, testing and release activities including delivery of release notes to multiple stakeholders.
  • Be accountable for delivery by providing transparency and clarity to leadership in the engineering org and beyond, building schedules to support the full product development lifecycle.
  • Work with Product Management / Product Marketing to ensure a project’s Go-To-Market lands with all appropriate stakeholders.
  • Align with Product and Product Marketing on roadmap creation, and keep people honest.
  • Understand our domain, not just the software.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Program Manager.
  • You know Agile (are probably certified!), but can separate the things that are effective for your teams from dogma to deliver best for the organization you’re in.
  • You have managed several software development efforts in a PgM role from start to finish.
  • You are an optimist and seek to find and develop strong relationships and improve processes.
  • You are proactive and seek to build reliability, transparency, and predictability into the SDLC.
  • You have outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • You have experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments.

For Colorado-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $135,000/year. The compensation package includes quarterly bonus in addition to a range of medical, dental, vision, financial and other benefits.
